Real estate photography in Vancouver, BC

Vancouver's housing stock runs the full range in a few square kilometres — glass condo towers downtown, mid-rise concrete stock in the West End and Yaletown, and character wood-frame homes in neighbourhoods like Kitsilano and Point Grey — often with a mountain or water view competing for attention in the same frame. That mix means no single shooting approach works for every listing: a 30th-floor one-bedroom needs a different lens, light, and timing plan than a character home with a front porch and mature trees. We shoot to the property in front of us, not a template.

Real estate photography in Vancouver: common questions

Many Vancouver listings are in strata high-rises — how do you handle building access and concierge sign-in?

We build extra buffer into the schedule for tower shoots: confirming elevator booking windows, loading dock or freight elevator use for gear, and concierge or property manager sign-in ahead of time. Let us know the building's access rules when you book and we'll plan the visit around them so the shoot stays on schedule.

Vancouver skies are often overcast — does that affect how the listing photos and twilight shots turn out?

Soft, overcast light is actually flattering for interiors and evens out harsh shadows, so it rarely holds a shoot back. For view-driven listings with mountain, water, or skyline exposure, we time twilight and blue-hour shots around the actual light and weather that day to get the windows glowing without blowing out the view, rather than shooting on a fixed clock.

How much does real estate photography cost in Vancouver?

MLS photography in Vancouver costs $145 for 20 photos, $160 for 30 or $180 for 40, per shoot, in CAD before 5% GST — the same prices as every area we serve. There's no travel surcharge in Vancouver.

How fast will I get photos for a Vancouver listing?

The next business morning. Daytime photography of a Vancouver listing is edited overnight and delivered the next business morning at no extra cost. Same-day delivery is available for a 25% rush surcharge, shown before you confirm. Video, twilight and virtual staging timelines are confirmed when you book.

Is there a travel fee for shoots in Vancouver?

No. Vancouver is part of our standard Metro Vancouver coverage, so there is no travel surcharge — the price shown at booking is the price for a Vancouver shoot.
