Richmond's housing stock is genuinely varied — dense concrete condo towers along No. 3 Road and the Canada Line corridor, newer presale developments, established character and rancher-style homes further out, and a working waterfront around Steveston with its fishing village charm. That range means a Richmond listing photo package rarely looks like a one-size-fits-all job: a highrise unit calls for different framing and light handling than a Steveston character home or a quiet residential street near the river.
The rest of the shoot goes ahead as booked — interior and exterior photography don't depend on the flight. We check the address against YVR's controlled airspace before shoot day, under Transport Canada's drone (RPAS) rules, so you know ahead of the visit whether aerial coverage is possible rather than finding out on-site.
Tower units usually mean tighter square footage, building amenity access windows, and elevator logistics, so we plan the shoot to make efficient use of natural light and available space rather than treating it like a house shoot. We're comfortable coordinating with concierge or strata booking rules and can pair interior photos with a floor plan so buyers understand the layout before they tour.
